I Miss You, Cashier Lady
October 18, 2020/
Here’s an essay of mine published by the Erma Bombeck Writers Workshop in July. It never made it to my blog due to technical difficulties. Don’t get me started on technical difficulties, they are the bane of my existence. But now it’s October and there is a happy ending. My blog is no longer rejecting me, and I am posting once again. Hooray!
They say absence makes the heart grow fonder, right? Well, here’s a 2020 pandemic confession. I’m longing to stroll the aisles and dip into some chatty banter at the grocery store. Check out my not-so-new thoughts here!
