A Lucky Man

I love interviewing extraordinary people. And Jeff Piotraschke definitely fits the bill. As part of my work with the National Kidney Foundation, I learned how Jeff’s kind heart led him to donate his kidney to his sister, Kathy. Selfless and family-focused, Jeff’s intention to improve Kathy’s health became the catalyst for his own self-improvement. And through this experience, he now describes himself as “lucky.”

That’s a striking statement. His benevolence has made him appreciate everyday he shares with his family. “I believe positive vibes make a difference,” he explained. Obviously they do, and his happier and healthier sister Kathy, living well thanks to Jeff, feels darn lucky too.
